- Obtaining ISO certification is in process.
- Up-gradation of laboratory facilities in the field of genetic marking, testing of plants based crude drugs and finished products according to IP/BIS/AGMARK/CODEX standards is on the anvil.
- Development of herbal drugs, dyes and colorants, cosmetics and food supplements.
- Research in tissue culture methods for plant multiplication in MAP.
- Establishing a herbarium as well as the genetic records of the flora of Madhya Pradesh.
- Providing facilities to research scholars from Universities & other research organizations.

b) Processing
- Developing various techniques for processing of MAP raw materials.
- Preparing wide range of common OTC quality Ayurvedic drugs.
- Production of essences, concentrates and extracts of MAP.
- Manufacturing of quality Ayurvedic drugs, cosmetic items, food supplements and colourants etc.

c) Herbal Awareness
- Organizing Customized Outreach programmes as per the need of rural stake holders.
- Organizing students’ clusters, nukkad progarmmes, seminars, workshop in colleges for their active participation in knowing their rich biological heritage.
- Organizing vocational courses for college students, women entrepreneurs and general masses.
- Sensitizing the masses through electronic media about traditional knowledge & systems of healing.
- Organizing visits of producers/growers/tribal collectors to other centres of excellence.

d) Marketing of quality processed raw material and herbal products
MFP-PARC, Bhopal being located at the heart of Madhya Pradesh should come up as the main hub for all marketing activities of MAP. To ensure this-
- Farmers/growers/tribal collectors shall be facilitated to dispose their produce at competitive rates.
- Develop facilities for mandi/marketing platform by creating sumptuous godowning facilities, hostel facilities etc.
- Organizing buyers-sellers meets in an effective manner.
- Making available on-line marketing facilities.
- Surveying of foreign markets and exploring export avenues of MAP produce and herbal products.

e) Others
Extending training programmes for trainers of cultivation of MAP, processing, developing newest products by value-addition etc.
; Developing MAP nurseries, bio-fertilizers/pesticides etc.
